Absolute washout ≥ 60% or relative washout ≥ 40% is indicative of adrenal adenomas.
Absolute washout < 60% is indeterminent.
Relative washout < 40% (more sensitive than absolute washout)  is indicative of adrenal adenomas.
Relative washout < 40% is inditerminent.

Relative Washout = 100 × [(post - delayed)/post] 

 

Post = 60-75 seconds post injection attenuation

Delayed = 15-minutes post injection attenuation

Pre = Baseline (pre-injection) attenuation
